October 11, 2011 Lyford First Baptist Church will be 100 years old. The celebration will be Saturday and Sunday October 15 and 16, 2011. Mark your calendar and come celebrate with us. If you are a former pastor or a former member we pray that you will join us.

Its not always possible to find both in one man.
The Singspiration on August 29, 2010 was great, fellowship sweet and food was delicious. The next month with five Sundays will be October - come join us on the 5th Sunday. Check out the photo gallery to get an idea.
Please pray for Mona Yarrison and her family. She has huntington's disease
and she is a little better with the new medicine.
Please pray for Maria and Joe Bartmess. Maria is exhausted and the doctors say he has not long to live.
Please continue to pray for Doug and Dianna Gay. They were at church yesterday and Dianna feels better.
Please pray for Don and Jean Lashbrook. He feels better enough that he is out of town on a job. They will go to Illinois the last of September.
"Bring Them In" is the theme in FBC Lyford for each month.
Church members are asked to call, write, visit the unchurched in the area and bring them in with you. If we all do this we should have some positive results.

Our Winter Texans have all gone north for the summer. Please pray for traveling grace for them and a quick returen to the valley in the fall. We really miss them.
